| Earlier this year, CITES reported on the degradation of phone service to the central part of the campus which was due to a buildup of moisture in the cable facilities. At that time, the focus was on short term solutions to prevent additional impact and restore service to impacted customers as quickly as possible. Now, the longer term need is being addressed by replacing the affected facilities with cable specifically designed to better withstand moisture. | ||
