| The DCL building experienced a power glitch around noon today (Fri 10.30.09) due to a campus electrical power problem with a campus power distribution switch (DC-3) which left some buildings in the southwest area of campus without electrical power. The power has been restored by F&S in the affected buildings. No problems were reported with CITES Data Center systems and services which run on conditioned UPS power. CITES networking reported no networking problems within DCL. A few people reported problems with their office PCs. |
